Ingredients:

  • 1 pound beef strips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Chopped fresh dill, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  5. Add the beef broth, tomato paste, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  6. Add the browned beef back to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has reached your desired consistency.
  8. To assemble the dish, place cooked egg noodles on a serving plate or bowl. Top with the beef and sauce mixture. Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of paprika, if desired.
