Ingredients:
- 1 pound beef strips (sirloin or ribeye)
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and hoisin sauce. Set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce mixture. Stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is coated.
- Stir in the sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the beef and broccoli stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles and enjoy!
