Delicious Mandarin-Glazed Grilled Chicken: A Tangy Twist on Your Next BBQ
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup mandarin orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
In a small bowl, whisk together the mandarin orange juice, honey, and soy sauce until well blended. Add your minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
-
Prepare your grill for medium-high heat and preheat it. Alternatively, you can also use a grill pan or oven set to 400°F (200°C).
-
Brush each side of the chicken breasts with the mandarin glaze and let them marinate for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
-
Grill the chicken on medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), brushing with the remaining glaze as you cook.
-
Once grilled, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
-
Serve the Mandarin-Glazed Grilled Chicken with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
- Enjoy this delicious, tangy dish with friends and family on your next BBQ!
