Delicious Mandarin-Glazed Grilled Chicken: A Tangy Twist on Your Next BBQ

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup mandarin orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mandarin orange juice, honey, and soy sauce until well blended. Add your minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Set aside.

  2. Prepare your grill for medium-high heat and preheat it. Alternatively, you can also use a grill pan or oven set to 400°F (200°C).

  3. Brush each side of the chicken breasts with the mandarin glaze and let them marinate for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

  4. Grill the chicken on medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), brushing with the remaining glaze as you cook.

  5. Once grilled, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

  6. Serve the Mandarin-Glazed Grilled Chicken with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.

  7. Enjoy this delicious, tangy dish with friends and family on your next BBQ!
